The picture of the first victim has just set me off again. Similar age to my daughter, posing with a group of girls at the Trafford Centre ......just a typical teenaged girl. Devastating.

There must be kids affected who have GCSEs today, they should be cancelled

The reporter Enda Brady said it was an hour or so ago, he saw it, must be beefing security up if the SAS are here, i'm expecting once they find who this twat is he will have a cell holed up somewhere waiting for martyrdom, twats

So I've just got home from a long night shift, we first got wind of what happened as our crew manager received a call from his wife and daughter who had literally just been caught in the blast, ive never heard such terror in a persons voice from that phone call, we scanned the news but obviously it had literally happened, they managed to get a taxi to the station and he went home with them understandably. We knew it was bad for the reports we were getting. My thoughts go out to all the victims and their families and the lads and lasses who attended last night, today I'm taking my 4 year old to the ice cream farm, screw going to bed I want to spend as much time with this beautiful, annoying little girl (lol) as much as I can.

I'm not taking my girl to school today. I just feel numb. Her school is not far from the etihad and I just feel like I want her with me today

My lads a primary school teacher, 8 and 9 year olds. I was just thinking how on earth do you begin to make any sense of what's happened to kids of that age. He's a good lad and I'm sure he'll handle it well, but I don't envy him the task.

My heart is broken. How can our wonderful city be inflicted by such mindless violence. Thoughts go out with everyone affected and the wonderful emergency services, who have done a grand job. Manchester must, and will, pull through this.

I know how you feel. My boys are 16 and 21. I have just text them saying I wish I could give them a big hug and that I love them.
Been listening to 5live all morning and it is quite harrowing and has left me feeling numb. It is such a tragedy, the people of Manchester will pull together but my condolences go to everyone affected by it.

I got her dressed and I just couldn't walk through the door. I can't imagine how those parents are feeling right now knowing they won't see their kids again. I just can't part with my girl today
