No what happened was woman number 1 said nothing gets through including ambulances, woman number 2 realised the own goal they were scoring and said blue lights etc would be 'allowed' allowed FFS. But the point is how does a nurse get to work if the stuck up cow wont allow her through ? If she is not at work people will die. I believe in trying to save the planet, I believe we should be doing far more than we are and I have no objections to sensible protests that highlight the damage we are doing but these wankers do not speak for me.

I agrre, as I said blockade the road but that is the road, din't be stoping people getting to worrk or to visit people.

If the idea is to highlight cars and there pollution then by all means do that , but show a bit of common sense, the young lasses replies were naive and from a place of ignorance of public opinion.

Wonder how many electric toys they’ve bought the grand kids, how many exotic holidays they’ve been on recently, what ca they drive.

And by the way all the green fields that surround our town and cities is not countryside.
Its agricultural INDUSTRY.

Why do people assume. You're the one talking bollocks.

They do not own a car and cycle everywhere. Use solar and wind generated power.

They grow their own vegetables and have a water collection system.

Have they given everything up ? No but they are making an effort and are prepared to protest to help change attitudes.

I have not one negative thing to say about them.

FYI - I do none of the above.

I'm sure the Met will be thrilled. Policing these lot must be a lot more cushy than dealing with knife crime or stopping a terrorist attack in London.
 
Have any of you actually asked yourself why you are so against people trying to raise awareness about the plight of the planet?

Have any of you actually considered that you can take small steps that help, a lot of small steps makes a big difference. How many of you now recycle stuff?

Have any of you actually wondered why those powerful media people inject poison into debates like this?

If you don't care about the planet that's fine, I aint going to convince you, I am not an ER supporter or a radical Green activist yet I see the dangers in what is happening to the planet, it might not be happening right now on a huge scale, but there is a good chance your great grandchildren will be affected in some way. If you are not arsed that is fine as we will all be long gone and if you just want to enjoy your time on this planet living life to the full then do so. I have no issue with that, it is within your rights.

Ask yourself this one question, who benefits most from exploiting the planets natural resources?
