Extinction Rebellion

You've seen my signature ;-)

Apologies though for seeing through your attempted sarcasm.

You off anywhere nice? Central London perhaps? Date with a glue pot and a major road?
I can just imagine him protesting - expressing himself through the medium of dance and not showering.

Cha-cha-cha.

Fuck me. You're turning into bluethrunthru!

There is no greater insult. The only man I have left permanently on ignore in all my years of upsetting fuckers on here. He is absolutely off the fucking scale. The type who would dance around acorns at events like this. I would torture the odd fuckers.

I've ignored him too.

Great minds!

At least we know we are getting wiped out

Them poor Dinosaurs couldn't even protest.

Look!!!! a big fuck off burning rock.....oh shit.

...

It's all a con job for nutters who just want to pontificate and tell us how we should live on many issues, not just climate change.

Yeah we all want clean air and all these things but I don't want to become a hobo to get it, I'd rather die to be honest.

I know its called the Extinction Rebellion but there is no need to take it literally.

Just have a meat substitute burger every now and then. No need for the drama.

The human race has been around for maybe 10,000 years or so. Industrial production, combustion engines around 130 or so. The earth has been around for 6-8 billion years and in that time has produced and survived ice ages and periods of great warming. The key word there is survived.

I refuse to be arrogant enough to believe we have brought mother earth to the brink of extinction in a little over a century simply by driving cars and manufacturing household goods.

This whole climate change schtick is simply a ruse to tax the air we breathe and an attempt by the affluent classes to recolonise the Costa del Sol away from the working classes by making the hard saved for fortnight in the sun so prohibitively taxed that only the affluent can afford it.

Show me action on climate change that doesn't disproportionately affect the poorest in society and I'll consider getting on board.
I haven't seen many working class families working two jobs in order to have a holiday now and again on the streets of london. I've seen plenty of white, dreadlocked trust fund twats though.

That 5 litre v8 Lamborghini that you pay high tax on but can afford is now banned, you have to drive something more environmentally friendly with a small engine like the poor people do.

Welcome aboard Mr Kazzy

Pie has nailed it 7 mins long but worth the watch.

His take down of the mail, gaurdian and moaners is spot on

This guy is just another angry person putting everyone else down but not really suggesting anything meaningful. In my putting him down opinion. :-)

If I'm wrong please let me know but from what I can tell the focus of the protesters and the government is still on "preventing/slowing" climate change in countries that can't "prevent/slow" climate change.

I've not heard anyone suggesting actions to "adapt" to climate change and help the most needy. For example if sea/river levels are to increase and storms are going to be more frequent wouldn't it be better to fund flood defense systems than it would be to fund saving particular habitats. Or maybe build more houses with better planning to get people out of vulnerable locations. Or prevent homelessness. Or fight drug use. Or help our kids lead a healthier life.

In my opinion all this energy is directed in a negative direction. Instead imagine if thousands of people were focusing on positive social initiatives to help each other. And in the meantime, let governments and technology focus on working with those countries where "preventing/slowing" climate change could be achieved.

At least someone out there needing help would benefit.
