I had an eye test today and my prescription has improved so much that I'm going to join the RAF regiment as a sniper.

Seriously though, get regular eye tests once you hit 40.

Mine has changed so much in 2 years its unbelievable.

Weaker lenses and razor sharp vision coming soon :)

My eyes have gone downhill big time.

But my meds cause me to get cataracts and they wont be done till they have to be.

Such is life

Oh dear Rascal. Very sorry to hear that.

sorry.

I had the lenses in my eyes changed five years ago at Optical Express , and my eyesight isn't bad now ...... mind you the missus caught me talking to a mop that was stood in the broom cupboard a few days back !

My eyes are getting worse and one of them keeps flickering twitching have just got new glasses . I think it could using my iPhone all the time .

I'm well below 40 and my eyes are a mess and have been for years. TBH at the ground I'm cheering on blurry figures in blue and am quite near the pitch (level one, row L). It's gotten to the point where I almost feel disabled so after years of being stubborn an eye test is my #1 NY resolution! Only question is contacts or glasses, leaning to contacts... glasses might cramp my style. :)

Anyone had laser eye surgery and does it hurt?

I've had a similar thing done to laser eye surgery , and no , it doesn't hurt ...... they dope your eyes up too much for it to hurt , you hardly feel a thing ...... some people , though not all , may just feel a little bit of discomfort just after it , but you'll be given eye drops , painkillers etc , and it will soon clear.

The most difficult thing is taking the first step , and booking a consultation ...... after that it'll all be over before you know it !
