Eye-test

I am short-sighted and have been since I can remember.

Now I need to remove my glasses to read anything so my glasses are up and down like a visor.

I never had to do that before and it gets on my tits....varifocals are my only option but i've heard that some people just don't take to them.

Same as me mate. I was short-sighted since 11 and started wearing varifocals about 8/9 years ago.

Every time since then the prescription has changed, but life is going to be brill when my new ones arrive.

Get your eyes tested mate and see the difference it could make.

Just one more thing; avoid these places that are commercial opticians like specsavers

My wife and I went there and felt like we were treated like cattle.

Asda did a thoroughly proper job with the test costing £15 and frame + lenses at £99.

Had some lenses made over here for a slight correction in my eye-sight, they were put into Police frames and go virtually black when exposed to UV. Never use them although I was told I should, after telling my wife that the man in the Locksmiths said to me that they only sell Cod and Haddock.
