why don't they just change the name of the paper to united evening news
the spin on that is so fucking funny why why why

city score 7 yes seven and all they can up with is a 10 goal bonanza you could never have a headline over shining utd can they
 
Normally I am a bit blaze with the 'agenda' thing but that is blatant, very poor from the m.e.n we score 7 in the top flight for the first time in over 40 years and we have to share the limelight with the rags....
 
I posted this on the MUEN thread, it's very obvious but not surprising

Poor show from the MEN that. Alan 'the rag' Green annoyed me yet again today. Was working this afternoon and managed to have radio 5 on in the office. He was gutted City were slamming the goals, you could hear it in his voice, and he actually said he felt sorry for Norwich
 
That really is bollocks. One team a season will score 7 or more goals, maybe two at a push. Give it the recognition it deserves. If they'd scored seven you'd have to go four pages deep to find out we'de even played!
 
I wonder if this kind of thing goes on elsewhere. It'd be like the Liverpool echo constantly trashing Everton.

Arsenal sodomized Everton(?) 7-0 a while back .... be interesting to see if the London eels and mash paper reported Arsenal and Spurs/Chelsea/West Ham contributing towards London having a "capital" 7+ goal bonanza that weekend....

Have to admit that this is beginning to become a joke..

Hardly a paper to recommend to anyone now , in terms of credibility......

A couple of my siblings work in the press and have noticed this ....

... Oh dear.. MEN .. FFS you gave us shyte over the 90s .... and yet are desparate to protect 'Davey' and the needy hoards...

that was the worst headline by a mile from them and to spin it around so utd have some of the limelight is shocking and desperate of them
 
Surely if you are going to tag the Rag v Fulham game on to the headline. It should have read 11 goal bonanza. United won by 2 goals we won by 7!!!
