You can't judge a player as good or bad when the whole team performs like shit !!
I can give you a dozen of examples here, you guys were wondering why do Robinho for example looked so good with the brazilian NT but didn't perform the same way in you're team. Robinho is a top player and anyone who followed he's career would know that he's a top talent but you need the whole team to perform great so that you'll look as the best.
I can gurantee you 100% that if cristiano ronaldo for example moved to madrid or even to us (in Inter) people would wonder if this guy deserves to be the best ?!
There are exceptional players that can perform great in any team no matter how good or bad that team plays (probably Only messi who would do it).
I'm not defending Ibra in anyway and if someone is shit in the team i would easilly say it. But both Ibra and maicon are a top players who would both succeed in any team out there (i have absalutely no doubt in my mind).....
Good comparison with Ronaldo since I saw the two the last time they were together before these two matches (we're right now in the middle of two WC 2010 qualifying fixtures between Portugal and Sweden). Not impressed with tranny at all. Ibrahimovic wasn't given much space though, but that was something everyone already knew and Sweden could use it to their advantage as it opened up loads of chances for Johan Elmander (who sadly couldn't capitalize and it ended 0-0).
By this I of course don't mean that the one trick pony isn't a good player, I'm saying Portugal hasn't got a team that's nearly as good as the rags.
