Good luck Slipper; you'll need it!
Thank you Jim, I think I will.

I think it's going to be a very competitive season, at least I hope so.

As much as I admire the Red Bull set up and Max as a driver (but not so much as a person), I don't really get much enjoyment from watching a totally dominant season by any team.

Be great to see them powering McLaren and Williams in future.

Going to be a lot more power units on the grid from 2026. Mercedes, Ferrari, Renault, Audi, Ford and now potentially Honda, looks like they are making room for two more additional teams to come into the sport.

Aren't they just.

Alonso has just gone +0.029 close to Verstappen’s best of the day. It’s a phoney war is pre season testing as they are all running different programs and fuel loads. They have been pretty aggressive on development this year Aston Martin, will be interesting to see if they can rival Alpine for fourth in the constructors standings.

New series of Drive to Survive out today. Looking forward to seeing how they play this one. The first couple of series had the fact it was a new concept to hook you in, series 3 was the Covid year so had that angle and the last series was the Max v Lewis battle. Last season from a story point of view was pretty dull and the title race over as a realistic contest very be interesting to see what they focus on this time.

Hopefully Ferrari have a car that can compete for race pace for the duration of the season, not just raw qualifying speed. It would be good to see (at least) a three team fight for the title.

Have a feeling Aston Martin will make a leap forward this season. Stroll has been chucking money at the team for years, hired some top personnel behind the scenes and Fernando still appears to be absolutely rapid.
One downside is he keeps his son in the seat when deep down im sure he would have rather hired a Gasly or a Piastri to be in the car.

That snide **** Alonso has finally found his calling with that other snide **** Stroll and his muppet lookalike father.

Hope it all turns to shit for the lot of them.

Mercedes still have lots of work to do to catch up

Ted Kravitz was saying they’ve basically worked on two new cars for this season. If the evolution of their ‘podless’ design doesn’t work out they’ve got a conventional design they can switch to.

Am sure it’s more complicated than that, but that’s what he said on Sky the other day.

The W14 just seems off again. Hopefully, the first availble upgrades will go in Merc's favour
