I thought Hamilton got a penalty mainly because there were two pretty obvious infringements in the same incident - not following the tarmac back onto track, and also gaining an advantage. They couldn't really not act on both of them.

It was getting a bit silly when incidents were being reviewed 15+ laps after the occurrence.
