Albon doing a Gasly, only ever has the pace when he has the tyre advantage through safety cars, but then again his route into F1 was less than clean so not overly surprising.
Gasly-esque performance. Seems last week might've affected him. Seemed down about it which isn't like him. It's a shame because he's been looking good until this race.Albon not covering himself in glory.
How was route not clean bud?Albon doing a Gasly, only ever has the pace when he has the tyre advantage through safety cars, but then again his route into F1 was less than clean so not overly surprising.
Prost won in '86 so maybe you're thinking about the charge through the field in the Toleman in 1984 in the pouring rain... Which which also won by Prost. Forever overlooked is the prodigious Prost!
I think Estoril 1985 was his standout wet race performance amongst many others like Donnington 1993.
You've got to include Schumacher in that list of wet weather specialists as well. Some of his performances like Spain '96 where he made the other drivers look like club racers are pretty jaw dropping.
Hamilton is definitely up there though. Hardly has any weaknesses and his wet weather driving is world class.
