F1 Season 2021

Errr why is no one talking about the new circuit after FP1?

Seems like people prefer the 'drive to survive soap opera' elements of the sport?

I will.

I guess we will see you in this thread the next time Hamilton is in the news and you want to take a pop, because its the first time you've posted in the thread all season.
You are correct, but I took my cues from Mr Hamilton, say nothing about this all season and only now mention it. The only difference is that I am an observer, whilst he is making money that we can only dream about by being there.

Yeah you really aren't an F1 fan if you think he's only nor mentioning it...

I've only seen the video of the safety car going around it.

There doesn't seem to be many run off areas making me think a Safety car during the race may decide the title.

why do they design such narrow tracks with no overtaking areas? Qualifying will be awesome, the race will suck.

Definite safety cars and I envisage the undercut will be hugely powerful in the race. The grip of fresh tyres on such a fast track with clean air will gain seconds.

FP2 is on right now (until 6pm) if you want to take a look.

It looks pretty intense. It reminds me of a Formula E track with the close walls and temporary look. But instead of micky mouse chicanes it's crazy fast 150mph corner after corner.
