If no stand out performance at the Olympics or player at the Euros have a nibble on SPOTY Award at 12/1, just on the fact he could get that record 8th title.

I personally think had Verstappen not botched the overtake he would have got it eventually. I'd wager the difference today was Hamilton's experience and maturity.

Disappointing McLaren et al. are still so far behind and that the battle behind petered out with the stops, the first half of the race was great with it being tight.

Lewis/Max delivered and came together and Lewis was just genius in that moment and Max was unusually reserved, perhaps the weight of it meaning something in the title and not being an odd "nothing to lose" opportunity weighed on him.

Red Bull again punished by the 2nd car not being in the hunt, yes Mercedes botched it at the 2nd stop but at least got Lewis right, but the key to changing the dynamic and putting them in the game was the 1st stop with the undercut and this wouldn't have been as much of an option if Perez had been tagging along in the top 4.
