Great find. It was about time he ended up hitting a wall at 180mph given the amount of times he’s moved to hit someone else knowing they’d back out. Might just think twice next time.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think that Max should even necessarily tone it down, just don't whine when someone does exactly what you have been doing.

Lewis tends to avoid being punted off. He'll lose a battle or two to win the war. That's why he's statistically the greatest F1 driver in history. Amongst other attributes.

I like Verstappen for what it's worth. I really do enjoy watching him drive.

Real test of Verstappen this. Lewis learnt from the sprint race where he was on Max' tail and made a single committed move which didn't come off and led to him being too far back and out of contention.

On the race itself he kept having a nibble, kept the pressure on and then went for it. Max will use his car as a barrier. He will let someone commit to a move and then swing in front to force them to lift and stay ahead. It is dangerous but it's good to watch.

Lewis got alongside and it was let off to allow both to stay on the track or push and potentially hit Max unless he let off. Neither blinked and Lewis came off best. Max has never had an issue doing the same to others. But with a title on the line he wants to change the rules. Horner was a complete moron to criticise as well. Why should Hamilton stay behind and wait for a friendly place to overtake?

Head's gone in that case. Lewis and Mercedes will benefit from it. I think it's great racing. The extra sideshow of Big Bad Wolff and Little Jack Horner (tm DBB) adds a lot of spice.

Watched it last night for the first time since getting back and a few things struck me about the TV coverage...

What the fuck was all that fawning over Cruise about? Why did they keep replaying it? Why the fuck can't the Welsh idiot pronounce Silverstone correctly?

Far too long a programme. Far to much "bantz" with the lads and maybe show some red arrows c4 because it went on for ages and was great.

Red arrows coming here tomorrow so wasn't too fussed about missing them. Yeah didn't get the cruise love in. including this belter from Jones " one of the biggest actors in the world" think only Danny de Vito is smaller ffs.
