That's why the cheating grates, because Max can do something objectively great like that start without cheating. He brings it upon himself because deep-down he doesn't believe he can win fairly.

You heard Lewis get told the hards can do 40 with 35 left.

Max will have to pit again. Lewis is still winning this easily unless there's another red flag.
