I think the club definitely had a word after the Chelsea abomination as I don't believe Taylor has reffed at the Etihad again and certainly not reffed City more than once before Wigan where he doubled down in sending off Delph for what was clearly no more than a yellow card especially in the context of what he was letting go in that particular game.

He ref'd the Bristol game at the Etihad, Watford and Swansea away and of course the Wigan game where his performance was shite to say the least. I was at the all 4 games but for the FA to call us out for the Wigan game is frankly pathetic I thought our players were remarkably restrained.

Perhaps everyone should bombard the FA with Emails telling them to go and fuck themselves.

Better to remind them of
A the promise to investigate Wigan’s match day security arrangements
B the fat that there seems to be an emerging pattern of trouble and fury from normally calm players in matches where ´Alty fan’ Taylor has been in charge..

This is the main reason i want our players to stay well away from that stuff. The ref may be the most pitiful excuse you ever did see but never touch the ref or get in their face. It is a mugs game.

As you allude to this seems a bit strange as we do not step out of line in general. Does not feel right having Faye White on any decision making against us since we just hammered her club twice. Her impartiality is at best in question imo.

Clichy gave away a pen I think. Three players 'surrounded' the ref and complained. It wasn't even that tense and the charge looked absolutely ridiculous at the time. I think referees only tolerate the captain appealing but the consistency in these matters are non-existent.
