Does any body know how the FA go about charging a player retrospectively.

Is it one person that makes the decision, if so who is it?

Or is it a panel that sit down after the weekend fixtures and watch Sky Sports News whilst reading the gutter press to see who the media think they should bring up on a charge?

I think they have a duty to the paying public to let us know how this procedure works.

Yeah and how is the appeal process like? What basis of appeal does balotelli have?

in the real world a person is innocent until proven guilty

which would be impossible in this case

so the procedure is to

1/ see if it's MCFC
2/ note the medja witch hunt
3/ listen to Harry dodgy tax evader hypocritically telling the FA what to do
4/ Ignore previous precedent like Huddlestone example? (Refer to 1).
5/ Ban the fucker.
6/ Sing glory glory. My old man etc

"Appeal" against the charge of violent conduct? Is this actually an FA term?

Surely it is "contest" the charge otherwise you are already judged as guilty and appealing the judgement, awaiting sentence?

It seems that having been charged with violent conduct (a deliberate stamp on Parker) it is up to Mario to prove his innocence - rather than innocent until proven guilty - the FA have said there is a case to answer, so, do the FA panel review the video evidence and is there then the option for them to say case unproven, not guilty or id he already guilty in the FA's eyes, hence the charge? If Mario doesn't "appeal" he will be found guilty and banned.

The process seems to be stacked against the player charged.

But what level of education and truth resides at Wembers/Soho Square! These people are football's politicians. They are only interested in maintaining their presence within the FArce framework. They aren't interested in the good of the game, and they certainly haven't got the interests of the fans at heart.
