Was speaking to a Dipper today and he said that exact thing. Reckoned those losses would take some gloss off the season. Well, up until the trophy presentation anyway.

Definitely. They’ve had the league won since Christmas it’s just a waiting game now so despite the 30 year wait you won’t get the kind of elation you get from winning it on the last day. And that’s without considering a potential ban on them celebrating it due to Coronavirus.

This is their best ever side, for them to “only” get the league this year would have to be considered a wasted opportunity and a disappointment. Especially if their closest rival in us goes and claims a few more trophies and has a better season despite them being so dominant in the league.

It shows the importance of not throwing away the domestic cups.

Having said all that, I’m fully expecting them to turn this around this half
