FA Cup 3rd Rd Draw - Rotherham (H), 2pm Sunday 6th Jan 2019

I knew that, still I hate sunday games and sky were wanlers for moving Liverpool anyway.

We could field a completely different team in both games.

We did that against Chelsea a few years ago and got slated for disrespecting the FA Cup. Yet Liverpool did it against Exeter and that was OK.

Sterlimg aguero sane.

Rotherham
Muric
Danilo vinny otter zivchenko
Ilkay foden silva
Mahrez jesus diaz.

Add mango and Kev to that

Easily done to have a different 11 that is also a full first team and tbh not disrepectful.

But doesn't matter now as we are on sunday.

Feel for tranmere and southport fans havimg to go london monday night, BT are twats

All about the audience fvck the fans.
Been like that for years I'm surprised anyone is surprised.

Rotherham was my first away match under George Poyser. I went on a Football Special which turned out to be a complete nightmare. Still City won, 2-1 I think.

My only other visit to Rotherham a couple of years later when Colin Bell scored in a 1-0 win. That was a rather significant result.

Really? You're saying "We went to Rotherham,we won 1-0 and we were back into Division 1" Not heard of that before. ;-)

Can we bring Negoui back for this fixture? Could always use a helping hand.
Straight into the net at the Platt Lane End
I was in the little Gene Kelly Stand for that game so saw what happened right in front me. Also remember walking down past the away coaches parked near Yew Tree Lane and it kicked off big style with Rotherham fans that evening .

I was in that same stand for this match. Bernabias goal looked an absolute belter from where I was sat, couldn't see the deflection in real time. Think I remember they had a striker running round with a head full of bandages?

Why would either of them go to London?

Didn't make them but went to Millmoor between them seasons 64/65 0-0.

Sorry if i have missed confirmation on here, but everywhere I look this morning including the city website in the fixtures section this appears now to be a 3pm Saturday kick off.

Slightly off topic, but I’ve always been fascinated by that 64-65 campaign as despite the well-documented poor home attendances, our away following appears disproportionately high.

For example, Huddersfield Town recorded their highest attendance of the season against City, just a few weeks after the notorious 8,000 v Swindon at Maine Road.

It was a similar situation at the Baseball Ground, where aside from their home fixtures against the Top Two (Coventry and Northampton), the crowd against City was considerably higher than nearly all the other games.

Even at Rotherham, the crowd for the 0-0 was one of their biggest, and only a thousand less than the promotion game the following season.

Was that how if felt at the time, or did you sense that you were the only City fan inside Millmoor?
