Yep, the criteria for overturning onfield decisions means that would have been a penalty but I think most will agree there's no way that should have been given.

Thing is, I doubt Var would have overturned it. It’s the muppets in PGMOL that’s the issue

We'll never know. I dont see how they can award that but we know they are incompetent enough to makenthat decision. The thing is, the deterrent is just as big, there's a lot less blatant cheating when they know VAR is there.
