They're not the same City, though. Old Trafford is not in Salford.
They used to wear Tangarine, until they were bought out by the ex rags. I know lots of blues who used to go and watch them when they could, but stopped afrer the take over.
I would say they are pretty ambivalent towards us. They are not like FC United, who hate us (The feeling is mutual).
It will be billed as some kind of United extension v ourselves. But thats not true. There were plenty of blues who would historically watch Salford.

I think you might be wrong. All of Salford will be out for this one. There will be loads of tickets. Maybe 6000 as you say. And most of them are Rags. It will be any excuse to turn up at City in black and kick off.
