Yeah, know what you mean, but i think about all the times minnows get to Wembley for play off finals for L1 & L2, or for FA Trophy finals etc - they always sell loads more than their regular attendance. If the stadium can hold it, twas ever thus I think, unfortunately.

Is there 8 or 9 thousand Salford City fans ? will Salford City FC give a fuck if United fans buy tickets nope

But wouldn’t they also come to the Etihad if they were playing us there in the league or the cup?? I don’t quite see the issue. Some on here seem to be catastrophising like it’s gonna be some kind of all out carnage.
As long as it’s policed at the same levels as a derby match, I can’t see why their ticket holders, be they Salford or united fans, are gonna make it any different to any match when we play them.

Anyway, whilst in theory I agree and would be happy if they were arranged at the same time, let’s be honest, it’s never ever gonna happen mate.

Salford City has got nothing to do with United or its fans
If Salford City sell tickets to United fans 100% they will sing United songs about City and LIverpool and Leeds

What is the point of any real Salford City fans turning up ?

I can't see many Mu fans wanting to see an easy City win.
