My team would be -

Hart

Maicon
Kompany
Lescott
Kolarov

Yaya (last game before acon?)
Milner

Silva
Tevez
Balo
Sinclair

Dont see the point in playing a really weak team as there is no mid week games and we will probably not have any european football after Christmas.
I agree. It's the FA Cup too, not the FL Cup.

do we want out of this? rather win the title.
Not at the expense of the title, but I wouldn't mind another trip to Wembley. The Green Man, the roundabout, THE TROPHY!

That's the losing mentality I'd expect from ex City fans before we won the league. I want us to win them all. CL, Europa, League/FA Cup...Premiership. Doesn't matter what it is. If it's silverware and we've got an opportunity to go for it we should do precisely that. We have players in our squad eager to prove themselves and if these games are a platform for them to do so then why not? Just concentrate on the Prem...Christ, I give up sometimes.

Looking forward to this will be my first game of the year seeing my beloved blues!

46 ;)

Not a bad draw for the Shots, but have been playing awfully this season so not expected to progress.

The Rec should be buzzing though.

Seem to remember this Match 1986-Gordon Davies from a Mark Liilis cross, then a dodgy pen @ the Platt Lane to Watford-off to Vicarage Rd which was a hopeless Struggle 0-0,then back to MR And thrown away 1-3.It wont be the case this time!!
