I absolutely love XTC. Very clever band. First saw them at the University of Manchester in Oct 78, then again at Manchester Poly in 79 (supported by Bruce Woolley.....remember him? Co-wrote Video Killed The Radio Star) and probably the best one of the lot at Rotters on Oxford Rd. Happy days!

Like many small towns around the country they almost all have a premier league team (Chelsea, Spurs, Rags typically) that they "support" via BT/Sky because only around 5,000 or so have the balls to stick with their local team. Respect to those that do.
