I went to the boat show with my son at the Excel in London that day. Afterwards we met up with his mates from West Ham at a pub just outside the Arena. I returned home the son and his mates went off to the game.

Thinking about it, not sure I can recall any away games on a Friday either since then?

As well as that West Ham game, our third round FA Cup tie at Swindon last season was on a Friday night.
