FA Cup 4th Round Draw | Tottenham (A) | Fri 26th Jan, 20:00

Non-league at home please or someone 'low down'.

If we have to play away Blackpool is a mere tram ride away if they get a result in the replay.
Ah, Blackpool away, conflicting memories of the 2-1 defeat in 1984 - Mike Walsh FFS, the asbestos roofing being ripped off that side terrace and the carnage post-match - and Lakey's last minute equaliser in that classic goalmouth scramble in 1988.

I'll take the rags

It'll be enjoyable dumping them out fairly early in the competition so all they have left to look forward to is finishing mid table.

Personally, when it comes to the FA Cup draw. I like playing someone different from the Premier League. Even if it is one sided.

In terms of being tested. I would say Leicester would be a good team to play against because they have found the Championship too easy and also they would put up more of a fight compared to most Premier League clubs.

If we did get Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea and all them. Then at least we knocked out one team that could win the Cup. Like last season we had a tough start to the Cup and eventually got easier later on.

If we get Wrexham. You can garentee the Hollywood owners will be there. Especially if it is at the Etihad.
Club will probably charge as much as if we draw the rags if we get Wrexham.

Hollywood factor and all that bollocks

Anyone else remember a game we played down at Maidstone the season of the Luton relegation (82/83), either a testimonial or benefit game? It was towards the end of that season and I'm pretty sure we sent almost a full strength team. A bit strange considering we were in the middle of a relegation battle .(which we lost ofcourse!)
Yes, i was there. Thought it was 93 but youre right mid season 1983. Midweek game. Can't remember much except it may have been trial game for a player we were looking at. The Saturday before or after I was at Highbury watching us lose 3 nil to a Brian Talbot hatrick !
