FA Cup 4th Round Draw | Tottenham (A) | Fri 26th Jan, 20:00

Whoever is organising these coach journeys needs to give their heads a serious wobble ..
2pm departure for some with the obligatory piss stop and 6000 vile fans coming down to boot…!

It’s gonna be carnage … !
I'd have thought Villa fans would use the M40 for Chelsea leaving the M1 for City fans.
If the coaches use the Toll Road then there's a chance they'll arrive on time.

I considered the coach offer, but decided to drive and get a hotel in the end. We're setting off at 8am. Boozer by 1pm at the latest. Just as the coaches are setting off from the Etihad.
I chose wisely in this case ;-)
As one of those booked onto an official coach, I'm begining to think I should have done likewise. Like you, my brother's staying over but travelling by train. I'm imagining him relaxing in a Tottenham boozer while I panic as the coach gets held up in roadworks on the M25 an hour before kick-off!

I see in the industrial estate between Northumberland Park station & the stadium (and at our end of the ground) there’s the Redemption Brewery tap which apparently welcomes away fans-drank their stuff a lot in London & they do a good pint. Given the lack of decent options near the ground this could be a shout. Looks like there’s a few Breweries on the same estate so hopefully some kind of mini Track/Cloudwater type thing.
A quick check suggests they not only sell proper beer but at reasonable prices for that London I just have to con my mate into thinking they sell Carling!

Yes mate. We're staying at travelodge edmonton, about 30 minute walk to ground, but that walk is devoid of pubs,so probably arrive 2pm ish, check in and get a taxi to a decent drinkin area.Enjoy pal!
We're staying Travelodge in Enfield. Dumping the bags then jumping on the train to Liverpool Street

All roads to London are a nightmare on a Friday mate, both ways and both routes … The Toll road is the only relief for about 20 miles or so …!
I wouldn’t set off later than 11am factoring in a piss stop and guaranteed traffic clusterfuck…!

The only two Friday night games in London I can remember are Fulham and West Ham. Can't remember which routes we used. Probably M40 for Fulham and A1 and M11 for West Ham.

The Railway which is very near Hale Station, Robbies pub. This is where the famous video of Vinny making a speech standing on the tables, on a Sunday night, after we won the league a few years ago was filmed. Others in Alty town centre that would deffo have it on are the Tavern on the Green off Goose Green or Libero which is a small sports bar in Kings Court.
