FA Cup 4th round draw (Wycombe or Villa away)

Villa will be the most boring of ties in a ground we have visited more than most other, and yet people with complain there is "no beer" on sale and be aghast at the poor facilities.

Wycombe have their ground about 3 miles from the train station, it is on the end of an industrial estate and there is only one pub between the town centre and the ground which is on the edge of the industrial estate called the Hourglass. I think are 2 real ales on at one time and the landlord rotates barrels (so could be different beers on), it is a good pub but I doubt there would be away fans allowed for a sell out crowd. City would get the same end as last time but this time there will be seats and slightly increased capacity of just over 2k. It may be sensible to go to a pub in town and get a taxi for about £7. The Bootlegger near the station is very good for all tastes of beers and whiskys, but there are quite a lot of other decent pubs, the area seems well off almost like a Cheshire town. The facilities in the ground are small and basic

If going on the train get tickets to Marlybone rather than Euston then a return on the day to High Wycombe may be cheaper,

Pretty sure it was seated last time we played them there in 1998 when they beat us 1-0. The time before was the 0-0 League Cup draw in 1995 when it was standing behind that goal.

Wycombe won't be a new ground for me so for a day out I'd much prefer it to be Villa. 6000-plus blues and hopefully not one of the shittier TV slots if it's on the box - Saturday teatime please ;)
 
The worst thing about the whole draw is after this round of games Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, Everton and the vermin scum will all be in the next one. Could really have done with some of those getting each other to get rid of some of them.

Hopefully after beating Villa away we'll finally get a home draw against the lowest ranked side left.

Yep, was in the upper tier behind the goal. No beer on sale at half-time but we broke into the trophy room* at the back of the stand and someone forced the lock open on the fridge in there to find a case of lager and one of bitter which were then distributed to the blues gathered in there. I heard Deadly Doug wasn't best pleased when he heard!

* - I say broke into but some clown had left the door unlocked which was a big mistake with hundreds of pissed up blues knocking about ;)
