As a follower of a national league side can’t say I’m too enamoured by this. Hardly the fairy tale the bbc would like you to believe. Literally have players dropping out the football league to join them as they double their wages.

I think it’s great. The only thing I do wonder is how romantic the Wrexham story would be if it were 2 brown, bearded gentlemen from the Middle East as opposed to a pair of white North American celebrities………
 
Wrexham probably get bigger crowds in the National League than Cambridge get in League One.
They now they been taken over yes. Point is they are a team full of league 2/1 players playing on huge wages managed by a Very good coach in Phil Parkinson. Hardly the upset of the century
