It’s only because they don’t care and would rather be out
So would klopp
He’s screwed now, have to throw their 4th round game instead

Could be because the fixture had to be played before the next round or they forfeit the tie. This is not the case in the league when the match can be played at a later date.

The cup becomes a farce though. This match already is with Liverpool 1-0 after 3 minutes.
 
The irony being if Villa had fielded this team in other circumstances they'd have been fined for disrespecting the competition.

This season really is a joke.
