Does anyone else remember feeling fantastic after the FA cup game against United?

Not the semi final but the game last season at our place in which we lost. Kompany gets sent off in the first half fir a two footed challenge (debatable) and going in at half time losing 3-0. We finished the game 2-3 but it felt in some ways like we'd won.

Never thought id feel that way about losing to them lot. I think it was the spirited come back in which we were striving for and to have 10 men going at it against 11 of theirs and have then shitting it. This fire and desire and possibly that game helped in our last game against QPR.

I was sat near them for the game and second half they were crapping themselves, even though we got beat the manner of the second half comeback made me think "if they weren't scared of us after the 6-1 they will be now!" and to be honest the team Taggart put out for the league game at our place proved that

Nope. I don't remember feeling fantastic after it at all. I was raging at the ref for a ridiculous decision to send VK off, and I was raging at some of our piss poor defending (we were already 1 down when the red card happened). At the end the feeling was more of relief, and pride in the spirit we showed in that second half, that the vermin hadn't matched the 6-1 (and being 3 down at HT and down to 10 men, it was a real possibility).

Yep, it was weird feeling so elated at the end even though we'd lost. Brilliant day.

I was relieved and proud of the fight we showed, at half time I was hoping we'd keep it lower than the 6, and thinking of the smug cunts reactions. On leaving the ground it felt as though we had won.

This is exactly how I felt too.

At half time I feared the worst and thought we'd be on the end of a sick swan ourselves. My mind was thinking back to the 5-1 win we had which was quickly followed by a 5-0 defeat at the swamp.

By full-time it felt like we'd won.

I think this was the game where nat had her rant on the big screen as I was herading for the car?

They're a strange breed rags, at the CS last season they came back from 2-0 at half time to win in the last minute and I swear that walking down Wembley way a neutral would have thought we'd won rather than the miserable rags.
