FA Cup - Blackburn post match thread

6/10 for performance. 10/10 for finishing. Our clinical finishing glossed over a performance where we didn't get out of third gear, and to score 5 in third gear just shows how ridiculously good we are. But amongst it all, the world class players stood out. Navas' wing play at times is superb and his ability to create a yard of space to fire in a perfect ball is brilliant, and Negredo is Negredo. I don't need to say anything more to describe how good he is. Job done as far as I am concerned. Save the better performances for another day, and keep going on the trophy hunt.

You have to say that the signings in the last window are proving to be absolute bargains ( still waiting for Jovetic obviously )
Last night Navas was motm for me- but Ferny and the beast were their usual quality.
When you look at the way spuds have blown the Bale money on a bunch of duds.
Duds at spuds hahaha

We didn't get out of third gear because all of our world class players weren't playing.

That's what made it such a good performance- because of the personnel who gave it. And it's not the first time a team of mostly second string players have gelled and stuffed someone. That's what so exciting: super city go holistic, Moysie is atrocious

Strange question I know but was just curious as to why the game kicked off at 20:10?

Never seen that ko time before.

Could have been a civil war if they`d have knocked Corrie off tonight.

We had half a team out, played shit, won 5-0 the GF was up for a shag, I smell of tuna, all in all a good night:)

When you say smell of tuna,is that in brine or ...

well she's playing the field and decided to skip jack tonight.. :)

What struck me about the first goal was that it was almost like a volleyball spike, where Edin was the decoy jumper and Beast was the one who actually executed the spike.
