FA Cup Final - 18/05 1700hrs

God we've turned into a miserable bunch....its the Cup Final ffs.

If the FA built a new national stadium on Grey Mare Lane we'd still be fucking moaning...

3 pm kick off? - piss take, I'm supposed to be doing the weekly shop - tossers
Saturday afternoon - why's it not evening? Takes the shine away, should be under floodlights.
Just round the corner - why's is so close, we want a day out.
The FA not thinking about us city fans yet again - you tried to get a drink at Mary D's at 2:30? FA tossers.
The last train back at midnight - only gives us 6 hours on the piss after the match - FA tossers
Whos going? Everyone - TICKET WHORES/SUPPORTER CLUBS/JCL's (delete as appropriate) - City tossers
Or Saving Money for a possible York away trip.....
Cheapest return Coach Travel Only £2.00 on the travel & ticket section - WHY'S it so cheap - it'll be packed - Metro tossers

Fuck this, I want Pearcey back, didn't cost as much then.

Lol. Let's look on the bright side - it's half an hour earlier than the semi.

I'm a traditionalist and so I wish the FA had stuck to a 3pm kick off but from a practical point of view kicking off at 5 is way more convenient. Who wants to get up at 6am/7am on cup final day like you have to for a 3pm kick off.

I think it's more to do with....

Cheapest return Coach Travel Only £33.00 on the travel & ticket section.

For the semi-final I had some sympathy for the traditionalist but still think if it was played at Villa Park for example you would get people moaning they couldn't get a ticket or being outraged at the game kicking off at 2:30.

This is the FA Cup final. It's a couple of hours later than it's always been and they always put on extra trains in case of extra time and penalties. I just think people like to moan. Open your eyes. This is the best it's ever been as a City fan and we may never ever get a season like this again. Enjoy it FFS.

Unless you're travelling from Manchester. Last game back from Wembley I got back in the small hours of the morning. It will be the same again, but this time not so bad as I can get the last train back.

Suppose it depends whether you're an early bird or a night owl Marvin, i'm definitely the latter

I guess. I'd rather have a choice of travel though. I don't have a car so the 5.30 KO left me with coach as only option. This time I can get the last train back. Already bought it.

Hope you manage to get a seat, last time i got the train home it was standing room only
