Out of interest, how many points?I've been a season ticket holder since 1977, didn't go platinum because there are 4 season tickets in the family and the extra cost was just too much. We've had the other 3 season tickets for over 25yrs now. Been all over the country watching city, got married, had kids and had to stop going to most aways around the time points started being given out so missed out on loads more points. I can accept that, its just unlucky timing.
Currently waiting for my 4pm window to open and I've just been sent a message from a friend who already has 5 tickets courtesy of his supporters club and none of them are season ticket holders. Maybe I should bin the season tickets and join a SC for future games.
What are the pubs near the station? Sounds good.It is ok, a couple of decent pubs nearer the station. We got a taxi direct to Wembley last year, went through the back roads and dropped us near The Torch, £25 between 5 of us, not bad.
8830 points, been to over 80 grounds following city. Season ticket holder since 1977. Make it make sense haha.Out of interest, how many points?
You can't, you'll receive an email with the link to download the ticket. So my ticket is showing in my account but won’t allow the download option does anybody know how to download the bloody thing?
I don’t remember it being this much of a ball ache the last two years
Yes you would have easily got a £50 or £75 through the OSC.I’m an OSC member but I didn’t apply for any ticket through them.
I’m a season ticket holder with 17,000 points but I’m not in the cup scheme so I could only buy my ticket today a 1pm.
By the time I got through there were no £50 or £75 tickets left so I bought the cheapest that I could for £125.
Would I have stood a better chance of getting a cheaper ticket by asking my branch of the OSC to get me one instead of waiting my turn and purchasing one myself?
I feel £125 is a rip off.
Your ticket won't be accessed through your account. You will get a separate email from city with a download option for Apple or android then it will go straight to your phones walletSo my ticket is showing in my account but won’t allow the download option does anybody know how to download the bloody thing?

That’s really bad. It makes a mockery of the season tickets / points scheme sales window and it makes mugs of the season ticket holders who wait in line to purchase their ticket as per the clubs criteria.Yes you would have easily got a £50 or £75 through the OSC.
I don’t agree with how it works. Like posters have said before, people are getting tickets who haven’t been all season!
Same with my branch. Lady, her husband and her dad all got £75 tickets, none of them have been this season!
Club don’t give a fuck.Yes you would have easily got a £50 or £75 through the OSC.

The only issue with the OSC ticket is having no or limited control over where you are sitting or what band you are ending up in. It’s worked out for some, it’s bit others on the arse who’ve ended up paying more than they wanted to.That’s really bad. It’s never been an issue for me before this year as I’ve always been in the cup scheme but left after Christmas as I knew there would be matches I’d be unable to attend if we were drawn at home. It actually would have probably been cheaper for me to stay in the cup scheme and pay for games I couldn’t actually attend rather than leave the scheme.
I know what to do in future - I’ll be asking my OSC to do all the legwork for me and get me a cheap ticket. If you can’t beat em join em…..
Our branch had a mixture of £125 tickets and the cheaper ones. We were allocated the number of tickets we requested and you had to log into your individual City ticket account and choose whatever price range ticket you wanted which was still available. It seemed to work well.I’m an OSC member but I didn’t apply for any ticket through them.

It's a fucking disgrace is what it is. It's an outdated concept that should have been binned off years ago.Yes you would have easily got a £50 or £75 through the OSC.

If you walk to Camden, it's about 15 mins, loads of pubs. Obviously not footy as most head towards Wembley, then hop on a tube to Wembley. EasyWhat are the pubs near the station? Sounds good.
They had control over what band they wanted. The only issue with the OSC ticket is having no or limited control over where you are sitting or what band you are ending up in. It’s worked out for some, it’s bit others on the arse who’ve ended up paying more than they wanted to.
I genuinely could not have given 2 fucks where I was sat. I didn’t expect the cheaper tickets to be given to folk who never attend games but pay a few quid to be a member of the OSC which meant that there were only expensive ones left for the folk who watch City regularly. The only issue with the OSC ticket is having no or limited control over where you are sitting or what band you are ending up in. The Alfred Arms is the best one IMO, close to the station, and virtually next door to a cab office. What are the pubs near the station? Sounds good.
With you all the way mate, I’ve been one of the biggest advocates on this thread of what an absolute disgrace it is that people who don’t go to games have just got a ticket through their branch, it’s not acceptable in any format.I genuinely could not have given 2 fucks where I was sat. Complete and utter garbage from the club.
Leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
