I’m just pointing out that he played “well”, not amazing, and consequently I don’t think he was undeserving of the praise.

Probably been said but!! Wow that was emotional?? What a way to end the season: thank you so much to our wonderful owners who without them this would not be possible. Sat here on my own with a beer feeling life is great, can’t believe the journey we’ve been on together someone’s going to wake me out of this dream soon to see bob Taylor running out at Maine road.?? Who would have thought in those dark times we would have a team, manager, and owners like we have!! I’m so very drained it’s hard to explain, feel I’ve gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson. Finally to all the blues I’ve met and made friends with
along the way here and deceased over this last 46 years of watching our great club ?? I raise a glass to you you truly are remarkable. Enjoy we really have deserved it

I was under the impression that the old "Club Wembley" seats were now sold by the clubs, presumably to their own fans. Well, I looked up there after a couple of our goals today, and the lack of celebrations in a sizeable number up there told a tale.
