It’d be interesting to know which branches it is that receive every ticket they request without apparently requiring supporters numbers and then hand them out to all and sundry. It’s definitely not the branch I’m a member of. Always lots of accusations but never any actual evidence.

Blues will be advised to use routes via the M1 and M1 Service Areas, United will be advised to use the M6 or their nearest Tube line.

All because SC get them and distribute them to all on sundry. Plus wud not surprise me if ST holders who are members of SC can also get tickets via sale from City.

The OSC doesn't distribute them to 'all and sundry' and you can't get a ticket through both the branch and the club, because the OSC's have to provide Seasoncard or Cityzens membership numbers when placing orders through the club. Anyone attempting to double dip gets referred back to the Branch Secretary and, at least in the branch I'm in, that individual is then barred for applying for tickets for the rest of the season

I’d assume that. They’ve sold very few season tickets over the last year or two, I do know that, and they must get a fair bit of “churn”. I think they want to make more money and grow the fanbase by selling the tickets individually.

He also said that we have 40 something thousand Cityzens members now whereas we used to have hardly any.

I know of at least a hundred Cityzens in China, of which about ten maybe attend a game. They just want to belong and contribute

I agree Bozzie. Also, the main purpose of Branches is to expand the Club’s fan base.

I think most posters on Bluemoon got fed up with a small minority trying to divide Blues years ago.

Thanks for clearing that up. I still dont think its right that SC are given tickets for cityzen members before it goes out to all others ST holders.

I understand why we have them, but the truth is that people who've been to every home game this season are gonna miss out to people who never go

I can believe that. As a Citizen member getting tickets once their window opened was always fairly straightforward. Not anymore.

Here’s the truth for you. The Branch I run has 216 members. We get 2 tickets for Everton.

I could take or leave the SC allocation as I use my own points but I forgot to buy for Everton as I was helping lifelong Blues get tickets for Arsenal at home. These tickets had nothing to do with the OSC.

I also think the club need to find a better way to reward people who are not ST holders but who attend most games. It is crazy that someone with a ST who has attended say 10 games and no cup games gets priority over someone who has been to 16 games and all the cup games.

I am not in a supporters club. I have 13000 points, on all cup schemes, and have missed less than 10 home games in any competition since 1974. I don't mind not getting away tickets but think supporters clubs are a thing of the past in ticket priority and under 30s should be the overwhelming priority.

Yes and likewise the season card holders who go to a game or 2 a season Vs the rags and dippers. 2 very small minorities I reckon.
