No chance a clear run at home for the rags probably Wimbledon..If as expected these smug cockney tossers go through then at least hopefully the rags will get them away in the next round.
His decisions don’t mean nothing. The ref runs the whole game from the awarding of free kicks/throw-ins/corners, he keeps the time as well.I can see both sides of the var argument, but this faceless official sat in a bunker making decisions is gonna kill football. No point in having a ref on the field if his decisions mean nothing .
If it's true that certain teams are favoured over others, then it's happening now and it'll still happen with VAR. The key difference is that it'll have to happen less with VAR because they'll only be able to screw us with the marginal calls. Right now they can miss stonewall pens and claim they didn't see it, but if they continued to do that with VAR, the conspiracy would be obvious in no time.,poeople need to get around to the idea that ( I keep saying it) certain teams will benefit from VAR while others are fucked over..
To be fair its a lot harder to introduce in football than rugby. His decisions don’t mean nothing. The ref runs the whole game from the awarding of free kicks/throw-ins/corners, he keeps the time as well.
Then he has his pitch side officials to help him out with those decisions.
Then he now has VAR to help with the biggest decisions.
Rugby league (a sport played in the North of England, the East of Australia and the poor districts in Auckland) have had a video ref for a quater of a century. The fact the world’s leading sport is only just getting it says a lot about how far behind other sports footy has been. It was pretty much the same with nutrition and training; football in England was miles behind both codes of rugby when it came to that even up to the start of this decade.
DinosaursWednesday fan's not appreciating V.A.R.
The ball is in play more in rugby league than it is in football. There was an article showing it a whole ago.To be fair its a lot harder to introduce in football than rugby.
