Yes he really did, of course that was when Arsenal won the league at Luton with Rice scoring the winner, wonder if the thick twat has changed his mind now but I doubt it.
 
If Rice had chosen Ireland over England he'd be seen as a pretty decent Irish player and nothing more.

(Then again had Grealish done the same then he'd not have cost 100m either)
 
Arsenal really developing a reputation now for being a team who you can just let punch themselves out. Whether it's over the course of 90 mins or a season, you just let them get too wound up and make your move late on. Arteta's a great manager with loads of potential but the atmosphere he cultivates is too intense sometimes. There are so many examples since he came in of teams going to the Emirates and just waiting for them to take their eye off the ball because there's always a chance they'll switch off for a second or get too excited. Too much hype, not enough control.
