FA Cup Games | 3rd Round | 4/5/6/7/8 Jan '24

It's more of a derby than this game.
What is the difference between a derby and a local derby?

A derby is a game involving two teams from neighbouring cities, a local derby would involve two teams from the same city and a classico involves two teams from two cities quite far apart geographically which have developed a great rivalry along the years - such as PSG and Marseille in football for example.
Think I’d probably agree with that definition.

Classicos are wank though.

That FA Cup Final win over the Rags was my favourite moment of last season.

Conveniently brushed under the carpet by the media. Could you imagine what it would have been like if we had lost!
Unfortunately that’s how they are handling us sweeping up all the trophies and continuing too, just ignoring us now to an extent ..

I'm not going to argue all day about it. You think you're right, I know I am.

;-)

We'll have to agree to disagree.

VAR would have analysed that handball incident for fucking ages.

Visually horrendous to watch but the flow is miles better without VAR.

Kits ain't an issue, you can tell the difference easily, old school and how it should be.

Same with no VAR that hand ball claim would still be being reviewed and killing the atmosphere and momentum of both teams

much better like this

Have to focus on the black or white shorts, as others have said the shirt clash is terrible.

The quality of the game is shite but Wankface and McCoist think it’s a great game because there’s hefty tackles, I don’t mind seeing players getting stuck in but this could get out of hand, good chance of a Red Card in this one.

Is 14 miles apart too far to be considered a derby?

try asking that to either set of fans ;-)

The presenter called Marseille V PSG a derby before the game. They’re probably further apart than the whole length of England.

much better lile.this
As a colour blind, kits are most definitely an issue. As a minority I expect my needs to be met as a priority, newcastle should have worn their away kit.
