I’m so bored of watching football. Love City as much as ever and of course will always watch them, but any other games really not interested.

Realised that once again, as I sat watching a bit of the Sunderland game earlier.

Yes every game is pretty bland. We are without doubt the best team in this league for sure, the only way we drop points is from our own fuck ups usually.

Ditto, have literally watched about half an hour of the Everton Palace borefest and that’s it.. Would probably have watched the Mackem Toon game if I wasn’t out but looks like that was a mismatch.

Yeah; I'm not as keen on the game in general any more. I just find run of the mill PL games not involving City a bit "meh", to be honest.

Me too. I only watch City, have done for a few years now. Most football is boring as fuck unless there are early goals or a proper good fight.

On the rare occasions when I watch two other teams as a neutral, I really am struck by how the level goes down, generally. The problem is, these teams are now finding a way to nullify City — and other fans have the nerve to say City are boring! Yes, if the opposition has eleven men behind the ball for 85% of the game, and maybe eight in their box for 65% of it, then we have to play possession, playing it from side to side and probing, probing, probing for the tiny cracks. It is not us, but the way the opposition plays against us, that makes it boring. Furthermore, it sometimes pays off for them —the vast majority of defeats we suffer are on the break, one, maybe two, shots and… goal!

Thinking of going out to a bar watch Arsenal v Liverpool tomorrow, because it should, on principle, be good. But it's the only one, literally, that would have tempted me this weekend.
That said, there is something to be said for occasionally watching football with zero stress involved.
