FA Cup Games | 4th Round | 25-29 Jan '24

I'm convinced ITV turned down the sound of our fans last night unless the acoustics are better at Fulham than Spurs. Newcastle's three thousand fans booming out, yet we had nine thousand who were quieter?
They pretty much obscured the City fans throughout, even when Ake scored they chose to zoom in on him from behind the goal so you couldn’t see the City fans celebrate, they only panned to the fans in the lower tier when the commentators mentioned them doing the Poznan. The story is City have no fans and that needs to be kept going, the Toon army are proper football fans and are no threat to the cartel etc

Genuinely have no clue what decision is coming at times. That kind of goal has been ruled out consistently for as long as I can remember with VAR to the point I thought that was a 100% given decision. VAR continue to baffle everyone by giving it. Maybe the rules have changed? I really don’t know.
I think the rules don't 'change' - they are marginally varied according to the shirt colour.

Should that goal have been ruled out for handball or was it ok due to proximity and he wasn't the goal scorer?

Genuinely don't know the rules anymore.

That’s what they just said on ITV cause it wasn’t the goal scorer and not deliberate then no handball. Problem I have with that is it’s absolute bollocks as we all know they will give that 7/8 times out of 10 regardless and I bet if that was a defender in his box they would give a pen.

Then why can't we?
I think it's part of the T&C's of purchasing a ticket. If yer buy a ticket with yer 'ard-earned' yer can't hear the verbiage. If yer part of the broadcasting team and consequently a 'free' ticket' yer not only get to hear the VAR sermon, they give you a transcript as well.
