FA Cup Games | 4th Round | 25-29 Jan '24

Then they tweak the law so nobody else gets shafted, remember Bernardo v Villa with Rodri coming back from offside robs the defender and sets up the goal, media seething meant they changed the rules, and remember Raz giving away a penalty at Stoke, the no contact at all allowed in the box for one game only
It’s fucking annoying and blatant …but we’ve been so remarkably successful, smashing records and breaking hearts.. I’m beginning to think the shit we get just makes us stronger. Bring it on you bastards.

Yes I remember Boyata on his debut less than 2 minutes into the game he fouled an Arsenal player just inside the box near the dead ball line. It wasn’t a dangerous tackle and the player wasn’t in with a chance of scoring.

The ref couldn’t get the red out of his pocket any faster than he did. No thought that Boyata hadn’t got in to the speed or rhythm of the game on his debut, I think Boyata had just turned 19.

Yes just lightly caught him round the neck …**** had his red card out in a flash.

Just watching the Everton Luton highlights.
Only 1 player booked for each team.
There was a fracas at one stage where an Everton player tried sticking his head into 3 different Luton players. One Luton player had his hands around the neck of a player á la Rodri.
All sorts of wild tackles.

Play on, nothing to see here.

Destroyed his City career for being a millisecond late, and delivered the super fast red card with extra relish. It’s Why Pep is miles ahead of Klipperty for me , they get enormously disproportionate help from officials compared to everyone bar Ragworld
