FA Cup Match of the Day - the Spurs comeback

I remember going for a walk at half time (I wasn't trying to leave, I promise), and bumping into a lad I knew from the Blackpool Branch of the OSC. We chatted for five minutes, and sort of talked one another down off the psychological ledge.

When the winner went in, my cousin lost his glasses in the melee, and after the game I was amazed that we didn't get battered because the pair of us were grinning like loons all the way back down the Seven Sisters and into town.

What a night.

Was doing one finger push-ups in the pub when Macken scored the 4th. No idea why.

Was lucky to watch it at The Lane, what a night

Same here...albeit in the home end. Had just moved down south for a new job & my fellow colleagues asked if I wanted to go this game since they knew I supported City.

3 goals down at half-time with good old Joey Barton once again getting sent off. They were all laying into me with 'banter' on the concourse with beers flowing & chants of "Jermaine Defoe is a Yiddoo" as they had just signed him from West Ham in the Jan transfer window.

Cue pandemonium at the end of the game with a remarkable City comeback & me struggling to contain myself even though I was near the away City fans. Those miserable bunch of colleagues didn't speak to me for about a week afterwards. Although that may have something to do with me sending numerous photocopied pics of Jonnie Macken to them through the internal post ;-)

Got my first ever Mobile Phone that day and was learning how to Text during the game -So you can guess the way that went -I remember posting sarcastically “the come backs on” or similar when we got our first

remember being there and 2 of my spurs mate texting me as the goals went in.
also remember liam and noel gallagher being there too.
fantastic night

Took refuge in The Elbow Room afterwards whilst they all went home, was definitely a powder keg when we came out.
