Of course there’s a simple answer to all this, as there often is.
Make the PL a Sunday league, save for any teams playing in the CL the following Tuesday. They could play 1230 and 1730 on the Saturday (or even 2000 on the Friday) and thus leave Saturday free for the rest of the pyramid. It’s then not a huge stretch to have all the PL games available for broadcasting. It’d also mean far less fannying around with date and kick off changes. Everyone’s a winner…..

EDIT. Of course, it would need a fundamental shift in Sunday public transport arrangements!
Yes, can see logic in that. Though your public transport point is a good one. As is my inbuilt aversion to Sunday games because of the knock on effect of “socialising” for a Monday morning for work! ;-)

It will drop lower than that.
Remember it's around 600+ extra tickets
than the league game and it's FA cup scheme members first.
The high point holders will almost all certainly be in all cup schemes so unlikely to make much / any difference

Fuck that. Football and bevvy on the Saturday, no work Sunday.

Who gets first pick at the quarter final stage, ITV or BBC?
Just trying to work out where our tie was ranked by the broadcasters in terms of “attractiveness”

ITV had picks 1 & 4 for this round so we were presumably their first choice, especially as they’ve put it in the Sunday late afternoon slot.

Did they really have to add a fiver? They get £100m for being in PL , it add another 10k ffs

Feels a bit tight with the criteria bearing in mind the distance and the KO time. I have 15k points and would be confident if it was a European match. Just how many people are on the cup scheme?
Agree with you, I think this might go down further than people think, although I think you might be struggling on 15k unfortunately, hope I'm wrong!

Overall they reduced prices from a Normal game by v City - £49 and £43 in that stand.

The prices apply across the ground - City could subsidise the away fans if they wanted to.

Leave it at £30 , City don't need to subsidise

£30 away tickets are subsidised - if they wanted to make money they would have charged £60 and still sold out.

You know similar to what City charge for Burnley at home.
