FA Cup QF Draw | Newcastle (H) | Sat 16 Mar 17:30

Could the Red wankers play each other on a Monday night? The International’s seem to be mostly friendlies that are scheduled later in the week. If that was the case we could play Newcastle on the Sunday, sure @Alfie Budd could give us the insight on this?

Anybody at home, but Coventry Away for a new ground to visit, went to old Highfield Rd
I have never been to the current Coventry stadium. I went to Highfield Road loads of times.

I lived there for six years in the late 1970s and early 1980s and was an elected member of Coventry City Council for the last three of those years. Back then the site of the current stadium was the Foleshill Gas Works.

I would like to go to a match at the Coventry stadium at some stage. Not likely to happen this year!

BBC/ITV would ideally want Rags V Scouse as a Saturday night kick off. I doubt they'll get it and settle for a 14:00 Sunday kick off with semis draw after.
They can go either way with the timing of the draw for semi. Not looked at the other 2 matches but assume it will be Chelsea and Leicester/ Coventry? I honestly don't know which way Rags Dips will go, would prefer a Rag win, because if we get through we get them or Chavs sf.

Wolves V Coventry will be the Saturday early kick off. Being a "derby" the local plod will be mindful of the West Brom tie.

I'll predict the ties will be
Cov/Wolves 12:00 sat BBC
City/Barcodes 17:30 sat ITV

Chavs/Leicester 14:00 Sun BBC
Rags/Dippers 16:30 Sun ITV

I think ITV get first pick?

I'm virtually certain that there can't be a Monday game at the onset of an international break as there's an unofficial agreement that all clubs agree to allowing players to travel to report for national team duty on Monday if that's what their country requires.
The international games are indeed mainly friendlies but the playoffs for the final places at the Euros are during that international break with 12 countries involved.

ITV gets first and fourth picks so will obviously be at the swamp. BBC gets second and third picks so I would presume will take our game.
Based on the weird kickoff times we've seen recently for derbies and our upcoming visit to Anfield, GMP might not fancy a 4:30pm kickoff for the Rags v Dippers extravaganza and may push for an earlier start especially with the increased cup tie away ticket allocation.
