FA Cup QF Draw | Newcastle (H) | Sat 16 Mar 17:30

Personally I think it just illustrates the growing disconnect between club and fans. They just can’t help themselves where ticket prices are concerned.

I also don’t see why those who have to relocate have to pay more than they would in their normal seat as there is nowhere to relocate at the same price unless standing up all game in SS1 floats your boat.

Tickets will start at £30 for the semi. These QFs tended to be £15 before last year, although it has been a decade.

The harsh reality is that things were never going to be the same once City had sold out for the Community Shield, despite a well- publicised boycott by the regulars.

Brilliant for those at the club responsible for attracting new supporters, but a flashing blue light for the older diehards.
In marketing, we would be termed "Hostages": Not satisfied, but will still purchase regardless.

As an over 65 I get my season card discounted to £20 per game for all PL games.
But the same seat is £32.50 for me in a FA Cup quarter final. (£10 for the same competition vs Huddersfield).
Baffling how they come up with some of these ticket prices.

And no saving for those on the cup scheme.
Not sure if I'm reading the info incorrectly but pricing appears to have the standard three levels:
1. Season tickets on cup scheme
2. Season tickets not on cup scheme and Cityzens matchday + junior members.
3. All other Cityzens members.

It's quite simple IMHO. They know that with a Sat night KO on telly it will most likely price-out many of us Seasoncard FOC's and then sell the seats at top dollar to tourists.
It's a sad reflection on the way football is now. They're not getting my seat though - I'm on the Cup Scheme and I'll be there as usual.

They changed it, they published 1 & 2 as the same price first.
