When we do lose at Wembley it's mostly when we are in the FA cup, weve lost 3 semi finals in the FA cup alone In a row at Wembley in recent years now that's fucking grim.

Chelsea v Everton at teatime, Forest v Newcastle Friday night, so I reckon we will be Saturday lunchtime with the other 3 on the Sunday.

Looks as if one tie will be on the Friday night. With us playing in the CL on Tuesday 14th we could get the short straw as the rags will be Sunday for certain.

It's not, as each draw is a separate event they have exactly an even chance of being drawn at home each time. If a roulette ball had landed on red 9 consecutive times do you think the odds of it happening on the next roll would be higher than normal?

That's on a roulette wheel or coin toss but, we're (if going down the fixing theory) looking at items in a bowl .... marginally larger/smaller ball, number slightly raised, small 'dot' of extra material on it...etc

I'm not so sure. There remains several teams whereby you would think Burnley could have prevailed and, even with a kind draw, maybe have made the final. Notwithstanding that as an achievement for his short managerial career in the UK, the income from that is not to be sniffed at.

Friday's a possibility. They did say the ties would be played over the weekend of 17th-19th March but there's a Premier League game on Sky on the Friday night so the broadcasters might not want a clash with that. It doesn't look like there's a televised PL game in the 12.30 slot on the Saturday so we might end up with a lunchtime kick-off. Personally, I'd sooner it was a 7.45pm or 8pm kick-off on the Saturday!

Maybe he's FCUM fan? They would never change the kick off time of a game to accommodate television.

Let's not be too cocksure. Burnley could do us. Vin's got them playing some nice football. We of all people know what academy he was at to learn that way of playing.
It's highly unlikely, granted. Us playing at the Etihad gives us a strong edge. And the signs are that we're coming into our end-of-season forms But let's just remember Wigan – twice!
