Yes, sounds like the best bet. I think you can get a tram from a Shudehill tram stop (behind Printworks which you'll see from Shambles Sq) but you might find it easier to get the 216 bus from outside Morrisons supermarket opposite fountains in Piccadilly Gardens (they are every 5 mins and home and away fans regularly use them together). Bus will take 15 mins to get there and run every 5 mins or so but best to catch it by 4.30pm. Most are football specials which go direct to the ground and the drop off point is outside the away end.

Allow for 10 min queue to get in. Stewards search everyone.

PS. Around 5,000 seats left. Going to be sold out. Just a question of when.

What Marvin said. Shambles Sq is a great shout but the bouncers at Sinclairs Oyster Bar can sometimes be funny buggers about letting football fans in. You should be ok but if a load of Vale fans are pitched up before you get there, it might be too full. Plenty of other places round there though

This has no reason to be moved from 1501 though has it ? Overseas TV is not an excuse to move a KO, as it can only not be shown on TV at 1500 in UK. There is no benefit to any fans in the UK for this being moved, none.

I'm on the FA Cup scheme, but 1730 ko's get me home at nearly 2300, and are the most disruptive to my weekend, so I'll pay for a ticket I won't be using, and yes I am going tomorrow, and will not be home till 2300, as trains have been booked. I could have booked trains for this for a 1500 ko yesterday when it was originally "confirmed", luckily I hadn't got round to it, but now I'll save myself £50 and find a stream instead.

I never get home before 2300 after a 17.30 ko. Mind you I seldom get home before 2300 after a 12.30 ko. Presumably if its a 15.00 ko you don't get home until 21.00. Really don't see what your problem is

These late kick offs are really killing us at the moment too, we’re lucky to be home by 1am with them and carrying 3 sleeping kids to bed from the car has done my back in

tbh, 12.30, 3pm or 5.30pm on a Saturday all allow time for a quencher or two before and/or afterwards, so either fine with me. Sunday matches less so, esp late on.
