FA Cup R3 | Salford City (H) | Sat 11 Jan 1745

Let’s see if City read the room for this game regarding prices. All junior season card holders £1, all adult SC holders, regardless of stand £10. Members £5 and £15. And City must insist on Salford not just dishing their allocation out to all and sundry, they need to have strict criteria, none of this six tickets per person nonsense.

They're not the same City, though. Old Trafford is not in Salford.
They used to wear Tangarine, until they were bought out by the ex rags. I know lots of blues who used to go and watch them when they could, but stopped afrer the take over.
I would say they are pretty ambivalent towards us. They are not like FC United, who hate us (The feeling is mutual).
It will be billed as some kind of United extension v ourselves. But thats not true. There were plenty of blues who would historically watch Salford.
Great post. Yeah, I think a few people might be getting them confused with FC United.

Correct but it only changed in 2017 However there is a minimum of £10 with 45% of net income for each club rest going to the FA

The old principle that always used to apply was that clubs drawn together would mutually agree ticket prices for the match, and if they couldn’t reach agreement the FA would act as arbiter and set the prices. Apart from that, the only constraint was a minimum admission price, ensure the total gate was worth splitting – each club receives 45% of net gate receipts, with the remaining 10% going into the FA Cup prize pool.

This rule that admission prices must be mutually agreed still applies for the qualifying rounds of the competition, but it no longer applies to all rounds up to the semi-finals as it did before
.
That aint right the rules changed under COVID, 55% Salford 45% City of net gate receipts.

Also minimum admission charges are also set in earlier rounds unless agreed otherwise.
