Not a chance they sell 6k maybe 2k at a push with a few rag straglers who will come to cause trouble targeting the old and vulnerable with cheap blind shots then running off thinking they r dead hard!! I'd imagine city will sell this in blocks to them then pull what ever is left and give back to home fans in last week.

Turfed out of my seat for a load of plastic out of town rags. They average what, 3k tops as home on a good day yet here we are giving them 6k plus

Can I point out that regardless of a team's home attendance every club is entitled to 15% of the capacity so even if we drew the Dog and Duck from Gorton they could ask for and receive that figure. Salford could have had around 7.5 - 8k so let's be thankful they haven't taken their full allocation. Yes it's mad but that's the rules. The club however should make it very clear to Salford about how they allocate the tickets and any vandalism will be billed to them.

Lower league clubs often take far more than their average attendance to FA Cup games away from home. And often from towns with a smaller population than Salford. Salford itself has a population of around 130,000 so there's plenty of scope for them to sell 6000 tickets. I've no doubt that there will be some "rag stragglers" in amongst their support but there will also be plenty of people who won't be looking for trouble and will be enticed by the prospect of a possible giant-killing act.

Can the posters predicting loads of trouble please get loads of Blue friends and family to come to the game so there can’t be hardly any Salford fans in the home end. If you care about your fellow Blues that’s what you would do - or is it all talk. BTW I don’t expect much trouble at the game.

I’m not complaining about the Salford cup pricing. But it’s almost like there’s a happy medium.
