So if they're letting member buy an extra 3, surely just let anyone buy one membership or not.

This game should be all about getting new local blues into the ground for the first time, which is what the pricing would suggest. However still forcing people to pay the £35 membership fee is going to put a lot of people off.

My mate saw the ticket info and his eyes lit up at 25 quid for him and the lad. But he has to buy a membership which brings the cost up to 60 quid so he's fucked the whole thing off.

Fortunately for him I'll be able to sort him, but plenty won't and will decide not to bother
 
The BBC will no doubt be there and shoving every syllable and good wish towards the underdogs, although by the time the tie comes round we could be the underdogs. I detest the likes of Butt, Giggs, Neville et al and anything they are connected to. I hope we've got our shit back together and give 'em a thorough pasting.

I think they set their stall out a couple of years ago, that the message is that you need a membership to buy a ticket going forward.

I don’t disagree with what you’re saying by the way. I just think they’re determined to stick with that policy. They probably reckon that in the long term, it will be a profitable position to have, even if it leaves some tickets unsold in the short term.

Yeah definitely mate I agree, and I don't have an issue with it on the whole because every club does it.

I just think for dead rubbers and early round domestic cup games we should be giving newer local fans every chance to get in the ground.

Just checked and the Club Brugge game which is after and arguably a more attractive fixture is on general sale, yet this isn't. Strange.

20 quid for me n my daughter is brilliant value. When you consider that the cheapest adult n kid for Everton is 120 then they'll fly out to working class fans who can't afford them ridiculous prices.

That’s my well thought out theory out of the window in five minutes flat then.

Might go and edit it and quietly skip the word ‘domestic’ in there somewhere.
